IPAS: an Ontology Based Approach to e-Government Service Selection

Abstract
In this Talk we present IPAS, a semantic repositories based approach to e-Government service selection. The IPAS approach enables value-driven service selection. This perspective is addressed by exploiting expressive semantic representations and reasoning. We describe an ontology for representing relevant semantic properties of services and processes. Furthermore, we discuss methods and technologies for making the semantic repositories accessible to users and open through linked data. Finally, we present with a prototype that implements the algorithm for value-based service selection.
